.brand domains and new gTLDs

With a .brand domain your brand is no longer a name inside .com, it becomes the extension itself: shop.yourbrand, clients.yourbrand.

Let’s talk about your .brand

Why a .brand

Instant trust

Only your company can register domains under your extension. Every .yourbrand address is authentic by definition, leaving no room for impersonation.

Full control

You decide which subdomains exist, who manages them and which security policies apply, including DNSSEC and two-factor authentication.

Brand consistency

Campaigns, countries and products under one extension, easy to remember and to communicate.

Fewer defensive registrations

Consolidating your digital presence under your own extension reduces the need to register your brand in hundreds of other extensions.

We support you all the way

  1. 1

    Assessment

We analyse whether a .brand fits your strategy, what it really costs and which alternatives you have.

  2. 2

    Application

We prepare the ICANN application with the technical, financial and legal documentation it requires.

  3. 3

    Launch

We coordinate the technical operator, testing and delegation of the extension.

  4. 4

    Ongoing management

We run your extension and its domains and keep you compliant with your ICANN obligations.

New generic domains

Since 2014 more than a thousand new extensions have appeared: .shop, .bank, .legal, .london, .app and many more. We advise you on which add value to your brand, which to secure during the Sunrise period and which are enough to monitor.

Neudomains was founded in 2014 together with the launch of these domains. We know dots.

Frequently asked questions

When can a .brand be applied for?

Only during the application rounds that ICANN opens. The 2026 round is now closed. Preparing an application takes months, so it pays to start well before the next one.

Is it only for large companies?

A .brand is a significant investment and makes sense for brands with international presence or heavy digital activity. In the initial assessment we tell you frankly whether it pays off.

Do I have to give up my .com?

No. Most companies keep their current domains and migrate gradually to the new extension.
